Anchor Community Harvest Festival/Halloween 2022

Anchor Chicago partnered with Assumption Church and other community pillars to provide a two day safe event for the Austin Community. (To include "Carve a Pumpkin with a Cop", Ride a Pony, enjoy the petting zoo, some light bites, warm cider & bouncy house, and cool music).

"Meals from the heart" with ANCHOR

This Past Sunday ANCHOR Chicago Volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House Charities as apart of their Meals of the Heart Program. We provided dinner for 15 families who temporarily are housed at the facility to be closest to the hospital while dealing with an severely ill child or teen member or their family. (While volunteer we were greeted by a young girl who was facing her 6th surgery the next day and she was very happy to simply have chocolate chip cookies)

Anchor Chicago Founder attended Southern San Diego "100 Strong" hosted by Brother Tau Baraka. This was a remarkable event filled with the courageous conversations principled in what's empowering, and what's eroding the Black Communities of Chicago and San Diego.
