A.N.C.H.O.R Chicago is a 501(c)(3) Organization in Chicago, Illinois providing resources and empowering opportunities to drive positive change amongst underserved families and males of all ages including those of hindering circumstances.

Mission : A.N.C.H.O.R Chicago is here to change the narrative of inner city youth especially minority males. to enhance the availability of resources that produce change for the upcoming young generation, high school dropouts, and juvenile individuals with minor criminal backgrounds and beyond.
Founder H. Harper is a native from Chicago, Illinois and after facing a challenging somewhat tumultuous young life himself. Harper decided to become a leader, a lesson, and not a statistic. Tensions run high, personalities conflict, and competing priorities collide but it is into these high intensity, chaotic, sometimes dangerous, situations that the Anchor Chicago Founded enters.
Changing the path of his life today, as a ‘Man of the People;’ recognized and respected CEO of Anchor Chicago is actively engaging in many community efforts.
An avid supporter of minority male life improvement and family causes. Harper can be found in partnership with other community organizations or spearheading his countless number of community efforts to bring resources and life altering opportunities to individuals and families.
What started as Harper being a pillar in his very own neighborhood, expanded to his local communities, and rebirth in him a dream and a desire to be a positive instrument of leadership in the city of Chicago.
When asked about his transition to become the founder of Anchor Chicago Organization, he passionately stated, “I have put all of my life experiences and education together to become CEO of Anchor Chicago. I want to make a difference in my local community and beyond. I couldn’t be more proud and driven especially for my son and daughter because they remind me that I have a bigger mission. A mission to which includes bringing resolve to urgent community issues, facilitating trusting consensus among minority male youth and adults, being the force behind implementing rapid positive changes and restoring fragmented community relations amongst the people and police.
